13 awarded ISU's elite Networks Scholarship

Thirteen of the best and brightest students interested in careers in the financial services have earned Indiana State University's prestigious Networks Scholarship through the university's College of Business.

Michael Haseley, a senior insurance and risk management and accounting major from Argos, has been selected for a prestigious nine-week summer internship, sponsored by the National Association of Professional Surplus Lines Offices, Ltd. (NAPSLO).

President's Scholars: 15 awarded ISU's top academic honor

Fifteen students have been awarded Indiana State University's most prestigious scholarship - the President's Scholarship. The honor includes full tuition, room, board and books as well as a laptop computer for all four years of the student's college career.

Terre Haute student takes third place in national science competition

Terre Haute South Vigo High School student Ethan Sperry placed third in the life sciences category at the National Junior Science and Humanities Symposium. Sperry is doing college-level research with Rusty Gonser, assistant professor of life sciences at ISU.

Stanley Liponoga IV of Elkhart, is the recipient of the Outstanding Physical Education Major of the Year award from the National Association for Sport and Physical Education.

ISU College of Business to host 'Camp Own It!'

Indiana State University will once again host its exciting, hands-on camp for future business owners June 19-23 in the ISU College of Business. The camp, which runs from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., is open to youth between the ages of 10 and 14.

ISU has nearly $400 million annual impact on local, state economies

A new study says Indiana State University's annual impact on the economy of the Terre Haute area and the state is nearly $400 million. The study by the Jacob France Institute at the University of Baltimore, found that for every dollar the legislature appropriated to ISU, the community and state received a return of $4.74.
