Indiana State University will proudly celebrate the Class of 2025 during its Spring Commencement exercises on Saturday, May 10, at the Hulman Center. A total of 1,447 degrees will be conferred as the university honors graduates for their academic achievements and perseverance.
“I congratulate our newest Indiana State University alumni as they begin the next chapter of their lives—whether that’s starting a career or continuing their education,” said President Mike Godard. “An Indiana State degree stands for more than just academic achievement; it represents real-world readiness and a commitment to making a difference across all sectors of the workforce. This is a milestone to be proud of, and I encourage our graduates to take the time to truly celebrate everything they have accomplished.”
Ceremony Details
The Graduate Ceremony begins at 9 a.m., honoring Doctoral, Master’s, and Educational Specialist (Ed.S.) candidates. This year’s graduating class represents 25 states and 16 countries, including China, Nigeria, Ghana, India, the Republic of Congo, Bangladesh, Japan, Morocco, Turkmenistan, Russia, Indonesia, Iran, the Republic of Korea, and Malawi.
Graduate degrees to be conferred:
- Doctoral: 81
- Master’s: 304
- Educational Specialist (Ed.S.): 27
Undergraduate ceremonies will begin at noon with the College of Arts and Sciences and the Scott College of Business, followed by a 3 p.m. ceremony honoring the Bailey College of Engineering and Technology, the Bayh College of Education, and the College of Health and Human Services.
A total of 1,035 undergraduate degrees will be awarded. Undergraduate students come from 29 states and seven countries, including India, Canada, Barbados, Jamaica, Mexico, Germany, and Bangladesh.

No tickets are needed to enter the Hulman Center. Livestream options will be available for those who cannot attend in person.
