Indiana State University’s theater department will present an encore performance of “The Dreaming Dust” Sunday (Oct. 14) before heading off to a performance in Dublin’s famed St. Patrick’s Cathedral.

Banking expert speaks about regulatory changes

George Kaufman, professor of finance and economics at Loyola University in Chicago and a consultant to the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago, told an audience at the ISU College of Business that current U.S. banking regulations set up banks for failure. Kaufman's speech was sponsored by Networks Financial Institute.

Vincennes junior crowned Miss ISU

Erica Eisenhut, a junior marketing major from Vincennes, was recently crowned Miss Indiana State University, besting nine other women for the right to compete for the title of Miss Indiana.

ISU will observe 'A Novel Homecoming' with retired dean of students Jan Arnett serving as grand marshal of this year's Blue and White Homecoming Parade at 10 a.m. Oct. 20.

Brother of Unabomber to speak on death penalty, mental illness

David Kaczynski, who turned his brother Ted Kaczynski in to the FBI for being the suspected Unabomber, is scheduled to speak at Indiana State University as part of the Anti-Death Penalty Memorial Day on Wednesday (Oct. 10). He will speak at 2:15 p.m. in Holmstedt Hall, Room 103.

Presidential Search Committee announced

ISU Board of Trustees President Michael J. Alley has announced the members of the Presidential Search Committee charged with leading the search for the institution's 11th president.
