The Commission on Accreditation for Dietetics Education has awarded re-accreditation of ISU's Coordinated Program in Dietetics for the maximum 10 years. The program, offered through the Deparment of Family and Consumer Sciences, prepares students fof careers as registered dietitians or dietetics technicians.

Daniel Lucky, along with his wife, Dianna, made the 2,200 mile trip to Indiana State University so he could participate in Saturday’s Commencement ceremonies at Hulman Center.
In addition to receiving his bachelor’s degree in nursing, Lucky surprised university officials with a $25,000 gift to fund scholarships for Indiana State nursing students, with a strong preference to male students. Roughly six to seven percent of all nurses today are male. Lucky believes more men should explore a career in nursing and is willing to do his part to assist others.

Ryan Hobert, a senior English major from Indianapolis, has spent the last two and a half years as a member of the Army ROTC. Roughly four hours before walking across the stage at Hulman Center to receive his bachelor’s degree, he will take part in a ceremony in the College of Technology where he will be commissioned as an Army intelligence officer.
