Indiana State University is proud to announce that Dr. Carrie Ball, Interim Dean of the Bayh College of Education, has been appointed by Indiana Governor Mike Braun to serve on the Indiana State Psychology Board. Her appointment begins April 1, 2026, and will continue through March 31, 2030.
 
Indiana State University is proud to announce that Dr. Carrie Ball, Interim Dean of the Bayh College of Education, has been appointed by Indiana Governor Mike Braun to serve on the Indiana State Psychology Board. Her appointment begins April 1, 2026, and will continue through March 31, 2030.
 
The Indiana State Psychology Board is responsible for overseeing the practice of professional psychology across the state. Its duties include establishing requirements for licensure, such as application standards and examinations, as well as setting continuing education expectations for licensed psychologists. The board also upholds professional standards by maintaining a code of conduct, investigating complaints, conducting hearings, and taking appropriate action when violations occur.
 
Dr. Ball’s appointment reflects her leadership in education and her commitment to advancing professional standards in psychology and related fields. As Interim Dean of the Bayh College of Education, she has played a key role in preparing future educators and supporting programs that emphasize student success and community impact.
