  • The Sycamore Dining Hall will remain operational to serve residential students but will open from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Due to ongoing inclement weather and in the interest of campus safety, Indiana State University has announced several facility closures for Monday, January 26, 2026.

  • All on-campus classes, events and meetings are canceled.
  • University offices will be closed.
  • The Sycamore Dining Hall will remain operational to serve residential students but will open from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m.
  • The Cunningham Memorial Library and the Student Recreation Center will open from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m.
  • Hulman Memorial Student Union will be open from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.
  • Some essential employees will be required to physically be present on campus to ensure the safety and continued operation of the University. Such designated employees will be notified in advance of this requirement by their supervisor. Examples of essential employees include: Campus Police Officers, Dispatchers, Steam Plant Operators, Grounds personnel, and other designated Maintenance staff.
  • With the approval of supervisors, non-essential employees may work remotely if job duties allow for remote work during times of campus closure.
University officials encourage students, faculty, and staff to monitor official Indiana State University communication channels for updates regarding class instruction, campus services, and University operations.
