Indiana State University’s Division of University Advancement announced a total fundraising amount of $20,102,253 for fiscal year 2025. This successful year of philanthropy concludes the University’s Be So BOLD campaign and makes for the fifth consecutive year that Indiana State has raised more than $20 million.

“Every dollar that was raised this year and throughout the Be So BOLD campaign represents a lasting legacy. Each donor has left a meaningful mark on Indiana State and has contributed towards the powerful story of joyful giving on our campus,” said Andrea Angel, Vice President of University Advancement and CEO of the Indiana State University Foundation.

The Be So BOLD campaign set the highest fundraising record in the history of the institution, totaling $133,175,864 raised during the six year campaign.

“The true impact of raising more than $20 million this year—and completing the most successful fundraising campaign in Indiana State’s history—is seen in the lives of our students. These gifts open doors to higher education, provide scholarships, and create opportunities that help Sycamores thrive during their time here and beyond,” said President Mike Godard. “I am deeply grateful to every donor whose generosity is shaping the future of our students and empowering them to achieve their dreams.”

Of the donors in the 2025 fiscal year, 1,266 were members of the President’s Society and contributed at least $1,000 throughout the year.

Building on the momentum of the campaign, 1,682 donors gave to Indiana State University for the first time, and 2,587 were Wabash Valley residents. Overall, the local community contributed over $3.9 million in the 2025 fiscal year.

This past fiscal year resulted in the creation of 18 newly endowed funds and more than $9.4 million raised for the University’s endowment. In total, the University received 13,756 gifts from joyful givers around the world.

“Achieving and exceeding our campaign goal is both a celebration and a challenge to continue striving for success at our University,” said Sam Shanks, chair of the Indiana State University Foundation Board of Directors and an ’85 graduate of Indiana State. “None of this would have been possible without the vision and perseverance of our supporters and our team. We are proud to continue building upon the tradition of excellence at Indiana State.”

Though the Be So BOLD campaign has reached its finish line, there is always an opportunity to provide transformational philanthropy on Indiana State University’s campus. For more information or to make a gift, visit indianastate.edu/giving
