As part of a competition with guest jurors, this exhibition showcasing a wide array of techniques is available from March 17 to April 11, 2025, with a public reception on April 3 from 4–6 p.m.

The Annual Juried Student Exhibition features outstanding undergraduate and graduate artwork from Indiana State University students, highlighting various mediums, techniques, and styles. This year’s jurors, alumni and Yang Family University Art Gallery sponsors, Neng Chiang Yang and Yanya Yang, have carefully selected pieces submitted by students across campus that demonstrate exceptional skill and artistic vision.

45 students submitted 110 artworks, ranging from ceramics to paintings and digital art. 68 pieces have been selected to be included in the exhibition, and students will be notified at the public reception on April 3 if they have secured awards and scholarships for their works.

Speaking about the variety of works submitted, Yanya Yang said, "The creativity and dedication displayed in this year’s submissions is truly inspiring. Each piece tells a unique story, showcasing the incredible talent emerging from Indiana State University. It has been an honor to review such diverse and compelling works.”

Dr. Melinda Roberts, Dean of Indiana State University’s College of Arts and Sciences, added, “The Annual Juried Student Exhibition is one of my favorite regular exhibitions as it is a testament to our students' innovation and artistic excellence. This showcase not only highlights their talent but also reinforces the importance of creative expression across all disciplines paired with world-class instruction from our faculty. I am proud to support and celebrate the achievements of our students."

The Yang Family University Art Gallery is in the Landini Center for Fine and Performing Arts at Indiana State University. The Annual Juried Student Exhibition runs until April 11, Monday through Friday, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., with extended hours until 6 p.m. on Thursdays. A public reception will occur on April 3 from 4 to 6 p.m., where student scholarships and awards will be announced.
