The Yang Family University Art Gallery at Indiana State University has launched its Annual Juried Student Exhibition, which celebrates a selection of work by undergraduate and graduate students from any major. As part of a competition with guest jurors, this exhibition showcasing a wide array of techniques is available from March 17 to April 11, 2025, with a public reception on April 3 from 4–6 p.m.

The Yang Family University Art Gallery at Indiana State University announces the upcoming exhibition Present Tense Indigeneity. It showcases six contemporary Indigenous artists who are reshaping outdated colonial narratives through their thought-provoking and progressive artwork. Present Tense Indigeneity is free and open from October 7 through November 1.

The Turman Gallery at Indiana State University has announced details on its upcoming exhibition, ART ACTIONS, which showcases works by Nadya Tolokonnikova, Founder of the Russian feminist art group Pussy Riot. The exhibition features a survey of performance artworks by Tolokonnikova and is open to the public from September 30 through October 25. 

Rumu Sarkar, a native of Terre Haute and a South Vigo High School graduate, has donated the painting “Le Jardin des Papillons” (Garden of the Butterflies) to Indiana State to be placed in the university’s permanent art collection.
