The Blanks, also known as Ted's Band from the hit TV comedy

TERRE HAUTE, Ind. -- The Blanks, also known as Ted's Band from the hit TV comedy "Scrubs," will bring its unique harmonies to Indiana State University's Tilson Auditorium on Jan. 22.

Composed of Sam Lloyd, Phillip McNiven, George Miserlis, and Paul F. Perry, The Blanks began as a group of friends who loved performing a capella music. Their quartet is best known from their many humorous performances on "Scrubs," helmed by Lloyd's Ted Buckland character.

As a group, The Blanks perform signature TV themes such as "Charles in Charge," "Underdog," and "The Six Million Dollar Man." Their act also includes commercial jingles, such as Chili's baby back ribs. Their CD, "Riding the Wave," features these songs and everything sang on Scrubs over their first four seasons on the show, with the cast and creator contributing their voice talents.

Tickets will be available at the door. Adult tickets are $19 and $11, depending on location. Tickets for youth ages 2-18 are $10. ISU students are admitted free with a valid student ID and are invited to participate in a punch card program. ISU Faculty/Staff tickets are $15.
