TERRE HAUTE - Do you have old books in your house? Ever wonder if they're worth anything while watching television shows such as "Antiques Roadshow"?
Bring your old books to the browsing section of Indiana State University's Cunningham Memorial Library from 1:30-8 p.m. April 3 to satisfy your curiosity! Three qualified book appraisers -- Jerry Farrell, Tim Kelley, and Rob Rulon-Miller will tell you if there's a hidden gem in your collection.
For a $5 donation per book, patrons can get a maximum of five books appraised. To schedule an appointment, call (812) 237-3700. Walk-ins are also welcome.
While waiting to have their books appraised, patrons can view two presentations dealing with collectable books -- "How to Look for Collectible Books," produced by the Cunningham Memorial Library, and a live demonstration by Debra Robinson about "How to Preserve Books And Proper Book Care."
