National Save a Life Tour stops at Indiana State Sept. 19

National Save A Life Tour will visit Indiana State Sept. 19 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. in Dede II, Hulman Memorial Student Union. Students will have the opportunity to participate in this hard-hitting alcohol awareness and drinking and driving program.

Vigo County College Fair helps students, parents think about next step in education

High school students and parents can get answers about college admissions procedures, academic programs and scholarships from more than 30 Midwest colleges and universities during this year's Vigo County College Fair from 6:30 - 8 p.m. on Sept. 23 at Hulman Center on the Indiana State University campus in Terre Haute.

Clay City has a plan, thanks to ISU prof and students

After two years of work, ISU Recreation and Sport Managements students have created a master plan for Clay City-Harrison Township. The results of the service-learning project will enable the rural community to apply for grants to fund improvements in recreational offerings.

Author and professor Kathleen Hall Jamieson to speak Sept. 15

Author and professor Kathleen Hall Jamieson will speak at 7 p.m. Sept. 15, in Indiana State University's Tilson Auditorium to kickoff the University Speakers Series. A book signing and reception in Heritage Lounge is planned immediately following her talk. Both the presentation and reception are free and open to the public.
