The Division of University Advancement at Indiana State University is proud to welcome four new development professionals, strengthening the University’s commitment to fostering meaningful connections and securing vital support for students, faculty, and programs. These new team members—Kelsey Fagg, Rondrell Moore, Tyson Baldwin, and Ryan Olson—bring a wealth of experience and enthusiasm to their roles, helping to advance Indiana State University’s fundraising success.
Kelsey Fagg joins the team as the development director for the Scott College of Business, where she will work closely with alumni, donors, and corporate partners to enhance opportunities for business students and faculty.
A two-time graduate of Indiana State, Fagg earned her Master of Arts in Communication in 2023, focusing on organizational and leadership communication, and her Bachelor of Arts in Art Education in 2009. She has been a key figure in higher education recruitment for the past four years, most recently serving as Associate Director of Recruitment in Indiana State’s Office of Admissions. In this role, she led a dynamic team, developed strategic enrollment initiatives, and strengthened campus partnerships to enhance student engagement. With over a decade of experience in sales and management, Fagg has demonstrated exceptional leadership in goal-driven environments and will be instrumental in strengthening the institution’s development efforts.
Rondrell Moore will serve as the development director for the Bailey College of Engineering and Technology, focusing on building relationships that support innovative programs, scholarships, and hands-on learning experiences for future innovators in engineering and technology.
A summa cum laude graduate of Indiana State, Moore earned a Bachelor of Arts and Science in Communication with a minor in Spanish in 2008. Most recently serving as an anchor and journalist at WTHI, he has been a trusted voice in Terre Haute for more than 16 years. His dedication to community service is evident in his work with local nonprofits, where he has successfully raised funds and supported charitable initiatives while fostering strong public connections. Moore will leverage his expertise in public relations to build relationships with donors and advance fundraising efforts. His deep ties to the University and the Terre Haute community position him as a valuable leader in expanding philanthropic outreach at the institution.
Tyson Baldwin and Ryan Olson have been hired to dedicate their fundraising efforts to Sycamore Athletics, working with donors and supporters to elevate athletic programs and student-athlete experiences through enhanced facilities, scholarships, and other vital initiatives. Baldwin is serving as the Associate Athletic Director of Development, and Olson is serving as the Assistant Athletic Director of Development.
Baldwin joins the Advancement team from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock, where he most recently served as Associate Athletic Director of External Operations. With a proven track record of securing major gifts, he played a key role in generating $2.4 million for basketball enhancement projects and led strategic donor engagement efforts. His experience also includes overseeing annual fundraising events, ticket sales, and alumni relations. Baldwin holds a Master of Science in Sport Administration from Mississippi State University and a Bachelor of Arts in Communication from the University of Arkansas.
Olson also joins the team from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock. With a strong background in sports communication and fundraising, he previously served as a Communications Assistant, overseeing external efforts for multiple sports and leading fundraising initiatives. He holds a Bachelor’s in Sports Business and Finance from Saint Louis University and is pursuing a Master’s in Sports Management at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock. Baldwin and Olson’s collective expertise and passion for athletics and philanthropy will play a crucial role in providing life-changing opportunities for student-athletes at Indiana State.
These new hires join an already dedicated team of development professionals led by Andrea Angel, Vice President of University Advancement/CEO of the Indiana State University Foundation, and Jeremiah Turner, Associate Vice President of University Advancement:
- Madison Bishop spearheads projects that impact Student Affairs, Honors College, University Engagement, and other campus-wide initiatives, strengthening the institution’s connection with students.
- Todd LaComba focuses on securing support for the Bayh College of Education, helping to empower future educators and enhance the field of teaching.
- Courtney Zellars leads fundraising efforts for the College of Arts and Sciences, ensuring continued growth and excellence in various academic disciplines.
Together, this dynamic group is committed to cultivating relationships that transform Indiana State University, ultimately strengthening the University’s ability to provide exceptional educational experiences to Sycamores for years to come.
