Dictionary Society to visit library, Cordell Collection

Dictionary Society of North America members will visit Indiana State's Cunningham Memorial Library and the Warren N. and Suzanne B. Cordell Collection of Dictionaries the evening of May 29 for a tour and dinner.

English professor awarded Fulbright to study in Ireland

Next spring, Nan McEntire will be packing up her boots and umbrella and moving, temporarily, to the Emerald Isle. McEntire has been awarded a Fulbright scholarship to research traditional Irish music at the University of Limerick during the spring semester of 2010.

Education professor, Holocaust survivor offer curriculum class for teachers

Eva Kor, a survivor of a Nazi concentration and extermination camp, and Kevin Bolinger, professor of early childhood education, will team up to offer a Holocausut curriculum class at Indiana State University this summer to help teachers meet Indiana's new Holocaust education standards.

Disaster drill set for Wednesday

and Vigo County Emergency Management Agency will conduct a
disaster exercise on Wednesday, May 20.

New student orientation program set

New students planning to begin their enrollments at Indiana State University this fall will experience an expanded orientation program designed to ensure a successful transition to college life. The two-day program is for students and their families. Participation is required for all new students.
