Gov. Mitch Daniels has confirmed Bob Baesler of Terre Haute as alumni representatitve on the ISU Board of trustees and Matt Huckleby of Georgetown as student trustees. Baesler and Huckleby took their seats on the board Friday. In addition, gov. Daniels also re-appointed trustees Mike alley of Carmel and Ed Pease of Terre Haute.
The ISU College of Business is carving out a niche with the hiring of a faculty member to focus on sales education. Jon M. Hawes has joined the faculty as professor of marketing. A certified sales executive, Hawes will serve as professor of marketing and will teach a new course in negotiations. He will also build a training laboratory for video-recording of sales, negotiations, and other business communications and will work toward developing a new Sales and Negotiations Center.
The Indiana State University Art Gallery welcomes "Collaborative Vision: The Poetic Dialogue Project," an exhibition running from July 14-Sept. 9.

Bradford Sims has been named dean of the College of Technology at Indiana State University. Sims comes to Indiana State from Western Carolina University where served as professor and chair of the construction management department in the Kimmel School of Construction Management and Technology.
