Indiana State University students will meet with business professionals this week for a formal dinner and a lesson in professional development.
The ISU Center for Student Professional Development on Thursday will host an executive dining experience for its business students at the Ohio Building.
Over a formal dinner, students will have opportunities to rub shoulders with those involved in careers the students are studying. The event is designed to give students access to professionals in a variety of career fields.
At each table, four students will be grouped with one business executive and a leader from ISU's Scott College of Business. Students will prepare themselves for the discussions by reading articles and developing a list of questions.
"The executive dining experience offers a great opportunity for College of Business students to network with business professionals and gain insights into skills needed for success," said Kim LaGrange, coordinator for the ISU Center of Student Professional Development.
The event takes place Thursday from 5:30 p.m. until 8 p.m. at the Ohio Building at 672 Ohio St. in downtown Terre Haute.
